Leading fiber optics developer Advanced Fiber Resources (AFR) gained renewed confidence in the future development of optical technologies recently when China’s undisputed Father of Fiber Optics, Zisen Zhao, visited the AFR exhibit at the 20th China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE) in Shenzhen, China.
Mr. Zhao, who introduced fiber optics to China in the 1970s, stopped off at the AFR exhibit to peruse the company’s new and classic lines of fiber optic components. AFR’s exhibit representatives also received a visit from another of China’s pioneers in the study of fiber optics, Ming Zhi. Both of the esteemed industry leaders remain active in the field of fiber optics technology development.
